Minespective :Projection Mapping for Mapp_MTL

Minespective is a projection mapping artwork that visualizes the complex web of human connections and viewpoints. Selected as one of the 20 finalists for the prestigious Mapp_mtl festival, this project invites viewers to experience a mesmerizing journey through shifting perspectives and interconnected realities.

Minespective's creation was a multi-faceted journey, blending various digital tools and techniques to explore themes of human interconnectedness and diverse perspectives. The project's visual narrative was built upon 3D structures and movements crafted in Blender, enriched with organic, hand-drawn textures created in Procreate, and refined with precise vector work in Adobe Illustrator. This seamless integration of 2D and 3D elements mirrors the interplay of diverse viewpoints in our world, presenting unique technical challenges in the realm of projection mapping. Through dynamic displays of shifting shapes, colors, and patterns, Minespective illustrates how different perspectives interconnect, forming a rich tapestry of human experience. The artwork delves into the multiplicity of human perspectives, the beauty emerging from diversity, and the fluid nature of perception and reality. Overcoming the technical obstacles of blending these elements for large-scale projection required innovative problem-solving, pushing the boundaries of my skills across multiple software platforms and resulting in a fluid, visually striking experience that invites viewers to explore the interconnectedness of individual experiences.
